NovaHost - This site is hosted by novahost.org for free. After evaluating several free services including Google apps and OfficeLive, I decided to move to NovaHost. (There is nothing to beat Google Apps for email needs). They give 800 MB web space and 10,000 MB monthly bandwidth. which is more than sufficient for most websites seeking free hosting. Added advantage is cPanel. What impressed me most is their stability. I found NovaHost most stable among free hosts I evaluated (barring giants like Google and Microsoft). They do not insist on advertisements or even a link-back. I have given a link-back in the footer of all my pages voluntarily. They more than deserve that. They do not require forum posting for keeping the account alive. Such requirements degrade the quality of the forum. I don't know how they can afford the service. The service must pay for itself and make a little direct or indirect profit to survive.
